Fuss-Free Registration
Registration at Tom's Guitar Studio is fuss-free. We ask for your basic contact information for billing and scheduling. We prefer to invoice by e-mail, though we can accommodate ground mail requests.
2008-09 Monthly Plan
Our monthly plan is one set fee at a reduced rate. It's designed for individuals and families attending on an ongoing weekly basis. Invoices are sent at the beginning of the month. The reduced fee ($76 for individuals, and $60 for additional family members) accounts for some missed lessons at holidays and during school breaks (Tom usually maintains a regular schedule on holidays). You may make up those lessons if you wish; though it's not our policy to adjust the school year invoices for school holidays and vacations. Similarly, if your regular time happens to have five weeks rather than four during a given month, you won't be charged extra for that additional lesson.
Note: When Tom needs to cancel due to performing commitments or his own illness, we'll do our best to reschedule your time, otherwise we'll adjust your next month's invoice with credit for the missed lesson(s).
2008-09 Pick-Up Rate
For those students not on the monthly plan, Tom's general pick-up rate is $25/half hour. The policy is straightforward: if a slot is open, it's yours; when you want to stop, just let us know. If you need flexibility with your regularly scheduled time we'll do our best to accommodate. We understand how difficult it is to juggle busy schedules and we want to do everything we can to help you keep room in your life for music.
Aside from the reduced rate on the monthly plan, the only other distinction between the two payment tiers is the security of your time slot on Tom's schedule. At the pick-up rate, we'll open that slot to others sooner rather than later if your attendance becomes intermittent, especially if you're in a prime lesson time.

- photocopies of extra music
- performance and ensemble opportunities
- advice on instrument repair and purchases, and
- guidance on recordings and live performances
